EPL TONIGHT
I really, really, really hope Birmingham City get relegated. I hope Blackpool notice and recognize miracles and beat the team I hate the second most. Don’t really mind who else gets relegated. Not even mad at Wigan despite that game last week, so I hope they stay up too. As for the rest, I dun really care!

So I bought a second-hand ‘Technics’ turntable, amplifier and speaker set-up from a place in Fremantle called ‘The Record Finder’ for $425. Fucking bargain. Now, I can listen to my records in my room whenever I want to while beforehand I had to use my dad’s stereo which is in the middle of the house which obviously I couldn’t use most of the time. Also, I picked up these records on that same day

Jennifer Lee (a.k.a. Tokimonsta) is set to release a new EP, entitled Creature Dreams, via Brainfeeder on May 16/11. The EP is a series of warm but decidedly woozy pieces of music, the soundtrack to the oddest, most beautiful dreams you’ve ever had. From the bouncing bass-beds of Bright Shadows, the Cocteau’s-meet-LA-Beat of Darkest (Dim) (like Little Pleasures, featuring the exquisite vocals of Gavin Turek), on into Moving Forward (which sounds like the music R2D2 makes love to), the driving, relentless beat of Day Job, this is an EP suffused with both warmth and creativity.
This is quite a dank tune. Can’t wait for her new EP.
